Ecology

The Anderson-Crosier Woods consists of woodlands on the western hillside and on the southern level land, and wetlands on the eastern side. The wetlands drain to the north into the Great Meadow/ Miscoe Brook watershed. The woodlands contain many large, mature oak and beech trees as well as a few towering eastern white pines. There is an abundance of juniper in the eastern wetlands. There is certified vernal pool just across the north east boundary, across the railroad tracks.
