Ecology

The key ecological make up of the Prescott parcel is woodlands and wetlands.  An intermitant stream passes onto the parcel from the southeast then leaves the property on the southwest side.  It drains south to the Quinsigamond River.

There is a high rock rubble wall on the northern border covered by invasives such as asian bittersweet vine, thorn bush, multiflora rose. Trail crews have worked to clear the invasive species, but we are currently at a stalemate.
