GLT Educational Activities and Grants
In addition to land preservation, an important secondary mission of the Grafton Land Trust is public education. This educational mission takes several forms…
- As part of its annual calendar of events, GLT holds lectures, slide presentations and demonstrations for adults and young people on a variety of topics.
- GLT advocates for the preservation of open space, disseminating information to landowners regarding preservation options, and providing the general public with data regarding the hidden costs of unregulated growth.
- Through an annual program of teachers’ grants, GLT provides funds to local schoolteachers to support nature and conservation education projects in Grafton schools.
Educational Grants
Each year, the Grafton Land Trust provides grants to local teachers to help them pursue projects that involve their students in our natural environment. The two documents below provide more information on this program.
